บ้านโมเดิร์น Ramkhamhaeng Sustainable house

บ้านโมเดิร์น Ramkhamhaeng Residence-Sustainable house is a Z-shape plan, wherein a central pocket garden emerges by dividing the structure in two rectangular masses along the north and south directions. This innovative design gives rise to a communal courtyard situated at the core of dwelling.

The Z-Shape Plan achieves the following objectives:
– Optimized Visibility and Privacy: The layout maximizes visibility while maintaining privacy by connecting to green spaces and isolating the building from neighboring structures.
– Natural Ventilation: The design facilitates natural airflow throughout the building, creating an environment conducive to breezy conditions. An inner courtyard with greenery is incorporated on both sides, enhancing the airflow.
– Solar Heat gain : The orientation of the building minimizes heat gain from direct sunlight exposure. Additionally, a double-layered cavity wall on the west side, consisting of two light-blocking walls separated by an air gap, serves as an effective barrier against heat gain.
– Sun Protection through Terra-cotta Facade: The south facade is equipped with Terra-cotta facade materials, serving as a shading device to protect against excessive sun exposure and heat.
– Integration with Green Areas: The north and east facades feature window glazing, allowing residents to enjoy views of the surrounding green areas.

– เพิ่มมุมมอง ภายในบ้านและได้ความเป็นส่วนตัว
– ได้ลมธรรมชาติ และ เฉลียงกลางบ้าน (inner courtyard)
– ตัวอาคารบังแดดให้กันเอง ทำให้ได้รับลมจากทิศใต้ ได้ดี
– เปลือกอาคาร ด้านทิศตะวันตก เป็นผนัง2 ชั้น มีช่องว่างอากาศ เพื่อป้องกันความร้อน
ผนังด้านทิศใต้ เป็นผนัง 2 ชั้น ผนังดินเผา (terra cotta)เว้นช่องให้ลมผ่านได้ มีความทนทาน และ ป้องกันความร้อน มีความเป็น thermal mass
